We walk the entire roof surface and inspect for broken or missing tiles, damaged shingles, lifted flashing, compromised ridge caps, and any penetration points that could fail under high winds or heavy rain. If something is wrong, you’ll know before the storm does.
Hurricane Shutter & Impact Glass Verification
Every opening gets checked — windows, doors, sliders, garage doors. We confirm you have approved hurricane shutters or impact-rated glass on all openings, and flag any unprotected openings that need attention before season.
Gutter Inspection
Blocked gutters can cause water to back up under your roof during a storm. We check all gutters and downspouts for debris buildup, blockages, loose hangers, and improper drainage — problems that compound fast when you’re getting 10 inches of rain in a few hours.
Written Findings Report
After the inspection, you receive a written report with every finding documented, categorized by severity, and accompanied by clear recommendations. No vague summaries — specific items, specific locations, specific next steps.
Photo Report
Every finding is photographed on-site. You get a photo report showing exactly what we found and where. This is your documentation — useful for your own records, for contractors, and for proof of pre-season condition.

Why Before June 1 — Not After
Hurricane season in South Florida runs June 1 through November 30. But the window to actually prepare is narrower than most homeowners realize.
Here’s the problem with waiting:
- Once a storm is in the Gulf or tracking toward Florida, roofers are booked solid. Call volumes spike 10x in the 72 hours before a named storm makes landfall.
- If we find a repair that needs to be made — a missing tile, an exposed penetration, a loose flashing — you need time to get that repaired before season opens.
- If a storm hits an unrepaired roof, the damage compounds. A $400 repair before the storm becomes a $12,000 job after it.

We prepare a free estimate on the spot. There is no obligation to use us for the repair — the estimate is yours. If you do want us to handle it, we can usually schedule repairs quickly in early season before the contractor backlog builds up.
