Is Your Roof Ready for Hurricane Season?

Get a professional Hurricane Readiness Inspection before June 1 — and know exactly where you stand. Written report. Photo documentation. No guesswork.

Book Your Inspection — $199 (Existing Renegade customers: $149)

Hurricane season starts June 1. Once a storm is named, it’s too late to schedule, too late to repair, and too late to prepare. Book now while slots are open.

Everything Covered in One Visit

Your Hurricane Readiness Inspection takes 60–90 minutes and covers every critical point of failure on your home’s exterior. Here’s what we check:

Full Roof Inspection

We walk the entire roof surface and inspect for broken or missing tiles, damaged shingles, lifted flashing, compromised ridge caps, and any penetration points that could fail under high winds or heavy rain. If something is wrong, you’ll know before the storm does.

Hurricane Shutter & Impact Glass Verification

Every opening gets checked — windows, doors, sliders, garage doors. We confirm you have approved hurricane shutters or impact-rated glass on all openings, and flag any unprotected openings that need attention before season.

Gutter Inspection

Blocked gutters can cause water to back up under your roof during a storm. We check all gutters and downspouts for debris buildup, blockages, loose hangers, and improper drainage — problems that compound fast when you’re getting 10 inches of rain in a few hours.

Written Findings Report

After the inspection, you receive a written report with every finding documented, categorized by severity, and accompanied by clear recommendations. No vague summaries — specific items, specific locations, specific next steps.

Photo Report

Every finding is photographed on-site. You get a photo report showing exactly what we found and where. This is your documentation — useful for your own records, for contractors, and for proof of pre-season condition.

Free Repair Estimate (If Needed)

If we find anything that needs repair, we’ll prepare a free estimate on the spot. No second trip. No sales pressure. If you want us to fix it, we can. If you want to handle it another way, the estimate is yours to use however you see fit.

Pricing: Standard $199 · Existing Renegade Roofing customers $149 (Inspection fee credited toward any repair work booked within 30 days.)

Why Before June 1 — Not After

Hurricane season in South Florida runs June 1 through November 30. But the window to actually prepare is narrower than most homeowners realize.

Here’s the problem with waiting:

There’s no version of this where finding out sooner is worse than finding out later.

Licensed. Accountable. One Trade.

William Roberts has been roofing in South Florida for over 20 years. He holds his own General Contractor license (GC #CGC1514572) and his own Roofing Contractor license (Roofing #CCC1328895). Both licenses are his — not leased, not borrowed, not pulled from a qualifier who never sets foot on a job.

That matters for one reason: accountability.

When a licensed GC signs off on an inspection report, his license is behind it. When you book a Hurricane Readiness Inspection with Renegade Roofing Co., the person responsible for that report is the same person who built this business over two decades in Broward and Palm Beach County.

We don’t sell you a report and disappear. We stand behind it.

“No BS. 20 Years. One Trade.” — William Roberts, Owner, Renegade Roofing Co.

You Get the Receipts

Every Hurricane Readiness Inspection includes a full photo report — not just a checklist, not just a paragraph summary.

You get timestamped photos of every finding, organized by location on the property. Broken tiles. Blocked gutters. Unprotected openings. Everything documented, everything labeled.

Why does this matter?

This is the kind of report you’d expect from a formal inspection — not a “looks good” verbal assessment. It’s a deliverable you can actually use.

Existing Renegade Roofing Customer? Your price is $149.

If we’ve worked on your home before, you get the inspection at $149 — $50 off the standard rate. No promo code needed. Just mention it when you book and we’ll confirm it in your file.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Hurricane Readiness Inspection?

A Hurricane Readiness Inspection is a professional assessment of your home’s exterior before hurricane season. It covers your roof surface, hurricane shutters or impact glass on all openings, and gutter condition. You receive a written report and photo documentation of all findings, plus a free repair estimate if anything needs attention.

How much does a Hurricane Readiness Inspection cost?

The standard price is $199. Existing Renegade Roofing Co. customers pay $149. If repairs are needed and you book them within 30 days, the inspection fee applies toward the repair cost.

How long does the inspection take?

Most inspections take 60 to 90 minutes depending on the size of the home and what we find. We do a thorough walkthrough — not a drive-by assessment — so we don’t rush it.

When is the best time to schedule a hurricane readiness inspection in South Florida?

April and May are the ideal months. Hurricane season officially starts June 1, and you want enough runway to identify any problems and complete repairs before season opens. Scheduling in late spring gives you that window. We don’t recommend waiting until June — by then, contractor availability tightens fast.

What areas do you serve for hurricane inspections?

We serve all of Broward County and Palm Beach County, including Deerfield Beach, Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs, Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, West Palm Beach, and surrounding communities.

Is the inspector actually licensed?

Yes. William Roberts holds General Contractor license #CGC1514572 and Roofing Contractor license #CCC1328895 — both issued directly to him, not leased from a qualifier. He has 20+ years of experience in South Florida and personally stands behind every report his company produces.

Do I need to be home during the inspection?

For exterior areas we can typically complete the roof and gutter inspection without you present, but we recommend you be available to review findings in person at the end of the visit. If that’s not possible, we’ll walk you through the photo report and written findings by phone.

What happens if you find something that needs to be repaired?

We prepare a free estimate on the spot. There is no obligation to use us for the repair — the estimate is yours. If you do want us to handle it, we can usually schedule repairs quickly in early season before the contractor backlog builds up.

Don’t Start Hurricane Season Guessing

One inspection. One visit. A full written report and photo documentation of your home’s condition — before the season that makes it matter.
